Manateq Cross Country Rally 2020

Nasser Al-Attiyah was crowned the champion of Manateq Qatar Cross Country Rally, the opening round of the Cross Country Rally World Cup, Yazeed Al-Rajhi 2nd and Jakob Przygonski 3rd, with the presence of the PR and Marketing Director at Economic Zones Company (Manateq) represented by Mr. Ibrahim Al-Fadalah, Mr. Abdul Rahman Al-Mannai, President of the Qatar Motor & Motorcycle Federation, Mr. Sultan Al-Muraikhi, CEO of the Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation, and Mr. Abdul Razzaq Al-Kuwari, Secretary General and member of the Board of Directors of the Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation.
Mr. Al Fadala, also received the award for Manateq sponsorship during the launch of Manateq Qatar Cross Country Rally for being the Title Sponsor of Qatar motor and motorcycle federation events and activities.

Manateq celebrates successful completion of its warehousing parks in partnership with the private sector

Manateq, the leading provider of Logistics and Industrial Zones and Warehousing Parks in Qatar, announced the successful completion of the construction of its four Warehousing Parks under the supervision of the Technical Committee to Stimulate Private Sector Participation in Economic Development Projects. This achievement was celebrated at Bu Fesseela warehousing park in the presence of His Excellency Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.
The completion of this landmark project is in line with the government’s thrust to encourage public-private partnerships (PPPs) in major projects and the contribution of the private sector in the state’s development projects.
In 2014, Manateq invited developers in the field of warehousing and logistics services to tender for the construction of the four Warehousing Parks projects. Following the tendering process, contracts for the project were awarded to four developers on a “Build – Operate – Transfer” (BOT) basis. The four companies were Gulf Warehousing Company (GWC) for Bu Sulba warehousing park, Al Asmakh Real Estate Development for Bu Fesseela, Dohatna Logistics Parks for Umm Shaharaine 1, and Barwa Real Estate Group for Umm Shaharaine 2.
Talking about the completion of the Warehousing Parks project, Mr. Fahad Rashid Al Kaabi, CEO of Manateq, said, “We are delighted to announce the completion of this first-of-its-kind project that supports Manateq’s vision to promote economic diversification in investments that add value to Qatar and underlines its mission to create a world-class business environment for local and overseas investors, to help meet the Qatar National Vision 2030. Manateq – Qatar International Rally

From Souq Waqif in the heart of Doha, Manateq – International Rally 2018 was launched, which is the fifth and final round of the Middle east championship, with a special launching ceremony filled with Qatari heritage.
The ceremony held on Thursday evening 15 November 2018, Mr. Al Kaabi launched the opening badge and awarded the winners at the end of the tournament on Saturday 17 November 2018.
Mr. Fahad Rashid Al Kaabi – Chief Executive officer of Manateq – described the success of Qatar Rally at all levels, and the special partnership as a title sponsor with QMMF.
He added: Qatar Rally shows the beauty of the Qatari desert in the northern region. Also, there was a great effort from the federation with cooperation with other organization in the country to preserve the Qatari environment.
He added: The Rally was held in Souq Waqif which is a unique place that linked Qatari heritage and attractions.

Manateq is Official Sponsor for “Made in Qatar 2018”

Qatar Chamber has announced that the Economic Zones Company (Manateq) is supporting the ‘Made in Qatar 2018’ exhibition in Oman as Official Sponsor.
The expo, which will be organised by Qatar Chamber for the second time overseas, in co-operation with the Ministry of Energy and Industry and Qatar Development Bank (QDB) as strategic partner, is scheduled to be held from November 5 to 9 on a 10,000sq m area inside the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre in Muscat.
The expo aims to exchange experiences with Omani companies in the industrial sectors, as well as to introduce Omani to Qatari products and opening up new foreign markets to small and large Qatari companies.
Qatar Chamber Director-General Saleh bin Hamad Al Sharqi and Manateq’s CEO, Fahad bin Rashid Al Kaabi signed the sponsorship agreement at the Chamber’s headquarters.
Rental exemption is extended for three months

PM issues decision to exempt factories In Mesaieed Industrial Zone from paying rent for 2019

HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani issued a decision to exempt producing factories in Mesaieed Industrial Zone of Manateq from paying rent for 2019.
The decision is based on the recommendations of the Ministerial Group for the Encouragement and Participation of the Private Sector to encourage and increase its contribution to the country’s economic development.
This decision complements the previous decisions taken by HE the Prime Minister to support investors in the industrial and logistics sector, such as allowing factories in the country to postpone the repayment of loans for six months as well as granting all investors in the economic zones of Manateq a reduction in the rent from QR40 to QR20 per square meter.
In a statement on Wednesday, HE the Minister of Commerce and Industry Ali bin Ahmed al-Kuwari said that such decisions are a strong boost for investment and seek to overcome obstacles facing investors in the industrial sector. It is also in the public interest to keep pace with the current investment trend in Qatar, he added.

Rental Value of Logistics Parks

Following the directives of HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al -Thani, and the recommendations made by the Ministerial Group to support, motivate and encourage the private sector to increase its contribution to the economic development in the State , HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al -Thani has issued the below decisions
– It is decided to reduce the rental value by 50% for all investors in the logistics parks in the southern region of the State (Al Wakra, Birkat Al Awamer & Aba Saleel), during 2018 and 2019 so that the rental values will be reduced from QR 40 to QR 20 per square meter.
– It is also decided to provide more exemptions to stimulate investors to speed up the completion of their projects on time, where investors are exempted in the abovementioned logistics parks the rental value of 2018 in the event of the issuance of building permits before 31 January 2018 and exempt them for 2019 in the event of the issuance of licenses to complete the construction before January 31, 2019.
This will contribute to the implementation of the development of logistics parks in accordance with the time plan adopted by Manateq.

In order to proceed with the development process in the logistics parks as planned, the investors are kindly requested to provide the information of the Engineering Consultant who will be appointed, before signing the official contract with him, to be enrolled in the plot letter that is being issued by Manateq to open the development file.
